iPod Out of
Warranty Upon receipt of your iPod
we will test the iPod thoroughly and contact you with a detailed repair
quote 24-48hrs after your
iPod has been received. If you do not approve the repair a $30 service
fee will apply, this fee will be deducted from the final repair bill if
you decide to go ahead with the repair. If you do not wish to go ahead
with the iPod repair we may offer
to buy your iPod for salvage purposes.
iPod
still in Warranty To
enable us to process your fault under warranty we
will require proof
of purchase to be included with the faulty ipod. If your iPod is under warranty
and no fault can be found the standard $30 fee will apply. iPod head
phones/ cords etc are replaced from Apple directly - please claim these
items through Apple Costumer Relations on 133622. Sometimes Apple
require us to send your faulty ipod to them and they replace it with a
new one, If you require your data to be backed up prior to the swap
over the approximate costing is $50.00.
Diagnostic
Fee we
will test the iPod thoroughly and report back to
you the fault and
total cost of repairs, if you decide not to go ahead, a $30 service fee
will apply, this fee is deducted from the final repair cost if you
decide to go ahead with the repair.
Data Retrieval if
you can, backup any data you want to keep before sending your unit in
for service. We cannot be responsible for any loss of data on your
iPod. Almost all repairs to your unit involve disconnecting the battery
which may result in data loss. Our fee for data retrieval and backup
starts from $50.00
Packaging Avoid
using mailing envelopes. Use a sturdy cardboard
box
Use plenty of bubble wrap or other packing material that will protect
the LCD screen in the event of an impact to the shipping box. Please
include the information requested on the iPod Service Form inside the
box with your unit. Failure to provide ALL of the information requested
could result in delays in getting your unit repaired and returned to
you!
Warranty All
repairs come with a 30 day warranty, unless
otherwise stated, on
parts and labour excluding shipping costs
Shipping Digital Warehouse
recommends that you
use insured registered Australian
Postal service (approx. cost $10.00), that way the iPod is protected
against loss and the item can be tracked. Please always ship it
"Signature Required". You can also use a courier service, but the
shipping costs would be higher.
Returns We
will contact you once the repair is done to
organise delivery back
to you. For security and tracking purposese we always use Registered
Australia Post or Courier services for shipping.
